The Department of Health recently released a new study that illustrated the increased dangers of certain types of cat litter. Vets across the United States reported an average increase of 4% in asthma cases last year, contributing it to the growing market of cat litter. “We’re seeing more diversity across cat litter brands with no regulation on their dust output,” said Dr. Shadow. Health Officials have not been able to keep up with thegrowing demand for cat litter across the industry. Humans have been searching for the best option out there that meets their needs, without considering the harmful effects it could have on their cats. “It feels like we cats often have no say in the type of litter we prefer, and we have to just learn to live with what our human likes, but we won’t stand for it anymore!” said local cat Milo.
